Welcome to Shawano Leadership!

I am Kristin WhiteHorse, program coordinator for Leadership Shawano County. Thank you for checking

out our website. Leadership Shawano County consist of monthly sessions that meet typically the second

Thursday of the month from 8 am to 5 pm starting in September and running through May. These

sessions equip participants with the skills and tools they need to address pressing issues and needs

within our communities. Participants are informed, inspired and challenged as future leaders to make a

difference through personal commitment and involvement.

The Leadership Shawano County program helps participants learn about community issues and

needs and to discuss possible solutions to these problems, by working on various community projects.

Twenty to twenty-five individuals are selected each year from the public, private and non-profit sectors who share a

commitment to improving our communities.

The program allows for participants to create and form unique and lasting relationships with one
