About The Program
Youth Leadership Shawano County empowers youth from Shawano and Menominee Counties to become future leaders by building leadership skills, fostering community connections, and encouraging civic engagement through inclusive, hands-on experiences.

Our vision is a strong, sustainable community shaped by engaged, informed, and confident young leaders who give back, participate in local organizations, and strengthen the future workforce of Shawano and Menominee County.
Who Can Apply
Open to current high school sophomores and juniors in Shawano and Menominee County schools. Students of all backgrounds with an interest in leadership, community involvement, or personal growth are encouraged to apply.

We are not looking for “perfect leaders.” We are looking for students who are curious, responsible, and eager to grow.
